Art

Art is taught to all boys for a double period each week in our Art Studio. Painting, drawing, silk-painting, pastel and ink, sculpture, pottery, printing and textiles are some of the art techniques taught over the course of the boys’ education here. We have our own kiln and pottery is particularly popular amongst the pupils.

Learning about Art Appreciation and Art History is also important to us.

Especially keen and gifted pupils are included in an Art Scholar’s programme so that they can extend their experience and possibly sit an Art Scholarship to their future school. Art activities sessions are held during the week for boys who enjoy this subject.

An annual Art Exhibition displays work from across the school in drawing, painting, ceramics, mixed media and textiles.
