It has become the tradition to finish the spring term with a sponsored walk. We’ve renamed it this year in memory of Roger Doodson who organised it for so many years and who is sadly no longer with us. This year we are raising funds for a cause particularly close to our hearts – Cardiac Risk in the Young. This charity does fantastic work screening youngsters for cardiac risk. It is particularly close to our hearts as an Old Boy, Harry Faulkner, one of the nicest young men you could meet, died at the age of 18 on the squash court. Hopefully with the funds raised by our walk many more teenagers will be screened. As ever the weather was kind and everyone who did the walk enjoyed themselves (particularly the dogs!). Now the hard work starts – collecting the sponsor money. Many thanks to Miss Gallagher for all her organisation.
Life is always busy at Lockers Park and this is a snapshot of everything that has been going on.
