One of the things that I first noticed when I started working at Lockers was the music. It didn’t really matter what time of day I was walking around the school, I’d hear music being played. It was, of course, the boys doing music practice. The range was and is immense – piano to double bass. It was no surprise to walk past a Year 4 classroom to hear music emanating – Matthew playing his clarinet – beautifully. It was rather a surprise when Mrs Hill rushed into my room “Where’s the camera?” then rushed out. C4H were being treated to a brass concert – well done Hayden, Harry and Harvey. I wonder if it had anything to do with the music exams happening over two days this week when about 50 of our pupils will be doing their next grade?
Life is always busy at Lockers Park and this is a snapshot of everything that has been going on.
