Going past the front entrance of the school I noticed some work was going on – a big hole had been dug next to the drive – the power to our new Pre-Prep building was now in place! Walking down the drive I was struck at how green everything was – the school building comes as a bit of a shock, set in all that greenery, surrounded by the town of Hemel Hempstead. Unusually for a Prep School, Lockers was purpose built as a school – in 1874. We are continuing that tradition with our purpose built Pre-Prep school. Since I was last in the building huge progress has been made. You get a real sense of space and light. It will look even better next week as the final internal decoration takes place this weekend. Everything is on schedule and we are looking forward to welcoming our first pupils, Reception – Year 2, to the new building in September.
Life is always busy at Lockers Park and this is a snapshot of everything that has been going on.
