Another prize at the FoLP Summer Ball was the opportunity to go fishing with Mr Dawes. Mr Dawes is a bit fanatical about his fishing and you’ll often find him on one of the Scottish Rivers or a Hampshire chalk stream. Of course it is not just any sort of fishing he enjoys – it has to be on a fly and preferably the quarry will be a salmon or sea trout. In fact last weekend I got this text ” Am in the Hebrides trying to catch a sea trout in appalling conditions.” I took this to mean the weather wasn’t very nice, but actually he meant it was too sunny! Oscar, Sebastian, Jamie and Henry went fishing more locally and were all lucky enough to go home with a trout. I wonder … How did they cook it?
Life is always busy at Lockers Park and this is a snapshot of everything that has been going on.
