Rugby v Summer Fields

The rugby season is now under way and today’s games took me back to my youth. This is how I remember rugby being played – out in all weathers, the damper the better! Of course damp conditions meant that handling was key and there were several spilled balls. The Colts A & B will be pleased with their results (Daniel scored 4 tries), the 2nd XV less so. In all our home matches the competition was fierce, as was the tackling and the matches were all played in the spirit of the game.

Over at Summer Fields it was also a good day for Lockers. Both the U10 teams were victorious as was the 1st XV, with Durotimi scoring 3 tries.
