Bushcraft lunch

One thing about boys is that most of them are always hungry. They get even hungrier when they cook their own food, which is what they did for lunch today. On the menu – wild rabbit, stewed with mixed vegetables, nettles and sorrel. As a starter s’mores and as an extra, Russian Pelmeni, prepared and cooked by Vladimir. The boys were cooking outside and had to prepare the fire, skin and portion the rabbits, peel and chop a selection of vegetables and then cook the whole lot in a Dutch oven. They then tucked into a delicious meal!
