Tring Museum

Our Pre Prep  children are studying the rain forests this term and while they would have loved a visit to Brazil it was much easier to take them to Tring Museum. Here they were able to get up close to many of the rain forest creatures and study them very closely. Tring Museum is full of stuffed animals collected by Walter Rothschild and is the ideal place to look very closely at specimens that are not going to move or hide. While they were there one or two of the pupils dressed up as insects and learnt about how important insects are in nature. They also met one of our previous Headmaster’s, Henry Wickham who was visiting the museum with his son. Many thanks to Mrs Pizzey and Mrs Miller for organising the visit.
