This year we tried a new approach to the Set Swimming Competition – we gave responsibility to the Set Leaders to choose the team. This allowed us to spend far more time teaching boys techniques. Most of the Set Leaders did a pretty good job – one or two needed a bit of chasing. We also changed some of the races, getting rid of a couple and adding in several more to ensure all strokes and age groups were properly covered. Overall it went well. Very well done to Kitchener for winning the Set Competition and also the Set relay.
Life is always busy at Lockers Park and this is a snapshot of everything that has been going on.
