While our Year 8s were up at Alton Towers and our Year 7s were getting wet in Cheshunt, the rest of the school went to Kidzania, Westfield for Expedition Day. This is a venue really planned for children – adults are not allowed to participate! The pupils made ice cream and smoothies, wraps and paper. If they wanted to do an activity they had to pay to do it. If they didn’t have enough money they got a job and got paid. We had pupils being estate agents & dentists. We had newscasters and weathermen. I didn’t hear one word of complaint the whole day 7 saw lots of busy people moving around quickly with huge smiles on their faces. I’m not too sure what the parents will think of the tattoos! Many thanks to Miss Connelly for organising this visit.
Life is always busy at Lockers Park and this is a snapshot of everything that has been going on.
