One of the highlights of the football season is the ISFA Cup competition, particularly if you do well. The ISFA Cup involves schools from across the UK and you are very likely to be up against schools you never normally play. This was the case with our match: our opponents were University College School. UCS has six times the number of Year 8 boys than Lockers, so we were really up against it. The score was 5-0 to UCS but that was not really a true reflection of the game. Three balls hitting the cross bar and one missed sitter could easily have resulted in a much closer score. What was really pleasing to see was how the team responded. They fought to the last minute. They didn’t let their heads drop and there was no in fighting. All in all a very creditable performance by Lockers. Good luck UCS in your next match.
Life is always busy at Lockers Park and this is a snapshot of everything that has been going on.
