Christmas Traditions

Lockers Park is a traditional Prep School with a history stretching back to 1874. Unlike many Prep schools, Lockers was purpose built as a school – originally to feed Rugby School, and was located in Hemel Hempstead because of the train line and proximity to London. As you can imagine a school of our age has many traditions. Last night was one such event : The Feast. Apart from the food, there were party games and we finish the evening with the whole school singing Silent Night around the Christmas tree. One tradition we have is that the school Christmas cake at The Feast is cut by the oldest and youngest pupil in the Prep School. This is what Edward and Duncan did, ably assisted by Mr Wilson the Headmaster.
