The first night was a triumph – some brilliant acting and the sound and lighting were amazing. What really impressed everyone though, was how the actors coped with a crisis. One of the spotlights blew up on stage during one very busy scene. There was the slightest hesitation before they picked up from where they were and carried on as if nothing was out of place. This is the first time any of us can ever remember a light fitting behaving in this way. The back stage crew also did a great job – rushing on to the stage with brooms to sweep up any splinters of glass that might have fallen onto the stage. Tonight it promises to be even better. This is really a play you should not miss. the curtains open at 7.00 – we look forward to seeing you.
Life is always busy at Lockers Park and this is a snapshot of everything that has been going on.
