Eco Committee visit Frogmore Mill

Each year every form in the Prep School chooses two representatives for the Eco Committee. This group try to keep the school as green as possible and go around turning off lights that have been left on, recycling paper and they also help maintain the school allotment. As a reward for their efforts Mr Iqbal took them to Frogmore Mill in Apsley. This is possibly the most important industrial building in the country as it was here that paper was manufactured by machine for the very first time, making it available, at a reasonable price, to everyone. The boys learnt how to make paper (using elephant dung) and then finished their visit with a paper boat race down the River Bulbourne.
