It was wonderful welcoming over 25 Old Boys and previous Headmaster, David Lees- Jones, back to the school for the biennial Old Boys’ Dinner. It was also really satisfying to hear them talk about their time at Lockers with great affection. The oldest Old Boy, Denny Lane, left in 1952 and for the second dinner running flew in from Washington, USA. It was interesting hearing him talk about his time at Lockers – a very different place then compared to now. Many of the Old Boys who returned were the group who left about 10 years ago. It was really rewarding to hear what they are now doing and it confirmed that Lockers is doing a good job, preparing pupils for all walks of life. We look forward to seeing them all return, hopefully bringing some of their friends, in two years time. Many thanks to Roger Stephens and Sue Johnson for organising the evening, to Mr & Mrs Wilson for hosting the dinner and to Paul Wilson and his catering team for putting on such a good meal.
Life is always busy at Lockers Park and this is a snapshot of everything that has been going on.
