FoLP Christmas Fayre

The end of the Autumn Term is always very busy. Today, as well as having a rehearsal for The Carol Service, the Friends of Lockers Park have put on a Christmas Fayre. There is something for everyone. The Jazzy Jars stall was very popular with the boys – an opportunity for the children to win jars full of sweets. Equally popular with the parents was the bottle tombola. For those more energetic there were a range of games in the Sports Hall and the Library was full of outdoor stall holders selling their wares. If you felt a bit peckish turkey or sausage babs were available in the Boys’ Hall, along with drinks. Very popular, as ever, was one special visitor who brought two of his helpers along. Santa was, of course, this special visitor, taking time off from getting all his toys wrapped and labelled ready for Christmas. There were some very excited young children after they had been in to see him. Later on this evening to end an action packed day, the Juniors put on their final performance of “An Inspector Calls.”
