Carols around the tree

Today is rather a special day at Lockers – the day of “The Feast”. This is where all sorts of games and activities take place up at the Prep School and in the middle of all the fun, the participants have a feast in the dining room. After this there are more games and the evening will finish at 9.00, when Silent Night is sung around the tree.

This is obviously too late for our Pre Prep children to participate in. Instead, their day finishes when they sing carols around the Lockers Christmas tree. Their parents watch them and join in with one or two carols, before they have mince pies and tea. It is a much calmer way to end the term for them. One more day to go, with Prize Giving tomorrow and the re-scheduled Carol Service in the Chapel ending the term.
