Year 2 visit The National Space Centre

On Tuesday 12th June, Year 2 soared into Space as they travelled to the National Space Centre in Leicester. They discovered the first space explorers, real life rockets and took a trip through the solar system.

The highlight of the visit for all was experiencing the astronaut show in the Patrick Moore Planetarium. The children were immersed into space and learnt how to become an astronaut.

“The planetarium was like a rollercoaster through Space, we saw planets and asteroids. It was so cool!” Oliver.
