The Leavers Service

The Leavers Service marks a bitter/sweet week for our Year 8 pupils as it marks their very last week at Lockers Park. Today we were privileged to have Mr Jonathan Gillepsie, the Headmaster of St Albans School come to the service. I do hope our Leavers were listening to what said – it echoed the message the Staff have been giving them and, if they follow his advice, they should settle in well to their new schools. Every Leaver present was involved in the service in one way or another. I think it is going to be a while before we hear voices as good as Charles and Daniel who were the soloists in the Choir anthem “I waited for the Lord”. Over the next few days our Leavers are going to experience several “lasts” but when they leave us, I am sure that not only will they have fond memories of Lockers Park, but they will be looking forward to the adventure ahead of them.
