It takes a huge amount of organisation to book up four different trips on the same day so that the whole school goes to an age appropriate venue for Expedition Day but that is exactly what Miss Connelly did. What is more each trip was a great success. The younger end of the school when to Meade Farm https://www.meadopenfarm.co.uk/ and really enjoyed meeting and feeding the animals and playing on the various facilities. The Year 4s’ enjoyed the high ropes, Reception the sand pit and EVERYONE had great fun in Soft Play. The Year 5 & 6s’ went to the Science Museum https://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk– much better that we expected was the verdict from the boys. They met a Russian cosmonaut which they found fascinating. The best bit of this trip was Wonderlab. Our Year 7s’ went to the Hertfordshire Young Mariners Base https://hymb.com/ in Cheshunt for an action filled day on and in some cases in the water. They built rafts, paddleboarded and also tried their hand at kayaking. Meanwhile our Year 8s’ went off to Thorpe Park https://www.thorpepark.com/ where they joined the queues for the various rides. All in all a great Expedition Day. Thank you VERY much Miss Connelly for organising it.
Life is always busy at Lockers Park and this is a snapshot of everything that has been going on.
