Prize Giving

At Lockers Park we have a Prize Giving every term – this time it was an internal one, with no guest speaker. During his speech Mr Wilson our Headmaster reflected on the term,  concentrating on the 100th anniversary of the ending of the 1st World War. Lockers Park Old Boys made a significant sacrifice in this war and we still remember them and their stories. Prizes are awarded to each form – one for effort and one for attainment. Competition is fierce for these prizes! Mr Shaw also keeps count for the Set Competition – well done Roberts who were the winning Set this term. At the end of Prize Giving the Head Boy, Harry, led three cheers for the staff and school but the biggest cheer came when our Deputy Head, Mr Taylor, called for three cheers for the holidays.
