With Science Week only two weeks away we thought we would whet their appetites in today’s Year 6 science lesson. The task was to make a saturated solution of copper sulphate. To do this the boys took some copper sulphate and heated it up. They then dissolved more copper sulphate in the liquid until it could take no more. The clever bit was to then cool this solution down before hanging a starter crystal in the solution. With a bit of luck they will see their crystals grow as the liquid evaporates. Another great lesson by our Head of Science, Mr Iqbal.
