The summer term started with a fantastic feeling in the school. The grounds looked fresh with all the new growth and the children seemed to settle in very quickly. After Chapel and a Form Period we had an assembly where Mr Wilson set out his hopes for the new term. He also announced the positions of responsibility. Very many congratulations to Patrick who becomes our third and final Head Boy of the year. We then moved into fire alarm mode, something we do at the start of every term so that new pupils and staff know what the fire alarm sounds like and also know exactly what they have to do. Then it was into our normal routine – lessons, followed by lunch and then games. As the major game this term is cricket in a very typical example of British weather it decided to rain and get cold.
