Boarders Trip To Southend

On the penultimate Sunday of the summer term it has become a bit of a tradition that the boarders go to Southend for the day. This is a very appropriate place to go as it is at Southend that the River Gade, who’s source is just a few miles up the valley from Lockers Park, meets the sea. Luckily the weather was kind and those who got wet on the water ride managed to dry off quite quickly. Everyone had a fantastic day – many thanks to Mr Erskine-Naylor, Miss Harrison, Miss Hale, Miss White and Mr Kellow for taking them for a wonderful day at the seaside.
