The Friends of Lockers Park (FoLP) is an active, informal parent community that provides social activities for parents and pupils while also raising funds for Lockers Park and numerous local charities. It has proved to be a happy and effective means of enhancing the school community. Successful FoLP fundraising over the past year means that a new Sound Lab/Recording Studio is currently being planned. Launching in September 2017, this exciting addition will further enhance the school’s music provision.

The committee is open to all and is comprised of parents from each class (which change on an annual basis) plus Mrs Hayley Wilson, the Headmaster’s Wife & Head of Pre-Prep and Mr Steve Gilden, Head of Juniors.

The committee aims to keep events stress-free, spreading the load where possible. Aside from FoLP committee members, ad hoc volunteers are always warmly welcomed and much appreciated and anyone who wishes to is very welcome to get involved.

This term, we are again collecting apples to make our own lovely apple juice, which will be sold at the…

Christmas Fayre on Saturday 9th December (11.00am to 12.30pm).  And, before that, we will be organising our annual Bonfire Night on Friday 3rd November.

Next term, there will be a social event so watch this space for more information or, better still, get in touch with us with your ideas.

If you would like to join our friendly committee and have fun while contributing towards school life, please contact secretary@lockerspark.herts.sch.uk.
